The Motorola T80 Extreme lives up to it's name. I needed a robust walkie-talkie for use outdoors in all weathers. I was not disappointed. Easy to use straight out of the box. I didn't test the claimed range of 10km but they worked well over fairly flat countryside for at least 2-3 miles and also in-building if required.
